Where do the missing socks go?
Sometimes as adults we tend to forget the simple pleasures of using one's imagination.  We tend to look back and fondly remembering being a child who's imagination was endless.  Or we find ourselves envying children for their open-mindedness.
There are many things that exist in which we take for granted.  Rain is one of those things.  We tend to complain or find discomfort when it rains.  It becomes a nuisance as it creates slick roads, floods, and landslides.  What we take for granted is how it provides water for us and plants; how it provides life.  It is magical in that the smallest rain drops can make a huge difference.
What we fail to see is that there is even more to the rain.  It is the most vital ingredient in the creation of something magical and the answer to one of life's most pondered mystery, "where do the missing socks go?"  When it rains lightly, magic is being spread around.  It touches the ground, plants, and you.  Often the magic gets on your clothes and eventually is transferred to your socks.  Usually, only one sock has enough magic to begin its transformation.
In the dryer, the sock finds it way outside.  It makes its way to a tree where it burrows for 13 days.  On the last day, the sock finalizes its transformation to a living magical creature called a Mizzle.

And now, everytime you are missing a sock after doing your laundry, you know it has become a magical Mizzle.  Very odd, I know, but its true.Wink

All About the Mizzles:
Mizzles are magical creatures made of socks.  They can make it rain in small drops.  They are very friendly beings who are curious and adventurous.  They are simple and eat various plants and fruit.
They live in the tree tops.  And can only be seen by those willing to open their minds and use their imagination.  Mostly, kids love them, but us adult grow fond of them as well.
